Claude Monet: Impressions of Light

Organized in partnership with the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), this landmark exhibition will feature works that illustrate the height of Claude Monet's engagement with color and light. It will showcase 20 works by Monet, the founder of French Impressionist painting, as well as eight other canvases by Monet's predecessors and contemporaries. All of these works are drawn from the collection of the MFA, which holds one of the largest groups of paintings by Claude Monet outside of Paris.

Last admissions are sold at 5:30 pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and at 6:30 pm Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Opening times may be subject to change due to private functions. We strongly recommend that you phone ahead to ensure available viewing times.

Special Policies

• Strollers are not permitted in the Gallery.
• Food, drinks, videotaping, and photography of any kind, are not permitted in the Gallery.
• Use of cellular devices is prohibited.
• Please keep in mind when planning your visit that the Gallery does not offer facilities to store strollers, packages, or other personal articles during your tour. You may leave anything you do not wish to carry with Bellagio's Bell Desk located in the Main Lobby.
• It is prohibited to touch the artwork.

• One ticket per household
• Must have valid email address
• A ticket will gain entry to BGFA only on Saturday, October 2, 2010
• Must present an official BGFA Museum Day ticket for free entry. Official tickets can be downloaded from the BGFA website: www.bellagio.com/bgfa
• Purchase $75 or more in the Gallery Retail Gift Shop and receive a free Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art Pen.

YES! Must present the Museum Day Ticket to receive free admission for one person plus guest.

Can I bring my whole family to BGFA Museum Day?
The Museum Day Ticket is only good for two people per household, per address. If you go to Museum Day with more than one guest, your other guests will have to pay full admission.

Are all museums/galleries in the country participating in a Museum Day?
Smithsonian Magazine annually hosts Museum Day. In order to participate in Museum Day 2010 all museums and cultural institutions must be a 501 (c)(3) organization or have status as a government-operated museum. Although the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art is not officially participating in Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day 2010 (BGFA is not a 501 (c)(3), we are offering any guest visiting BGFA on BGFA Museum Day a complimentary visit.
